Electric Four engine Plans

1/17 scale Lockheed Constellation1049 Super 'G'

This model will have a 88" wing span and has an all up weight, with 2 x 11.1v 3700mah Lipo flight pack, of only 6 lbs .  The model will be designed for four 480 size speed Brushed motors, 3.5:1 gearboxes and two 50amp brushed speed controller.

The model will have the PN Designs hallmark of construction, the  successful egg box method which alleviates any building anomalies.

The construction is built on a 1/8" Liteply keel with 1/16" birch ply main formers. Standard formers are 3/32" balsa and wing, tail and fin ribs are from 1/16" balsa.  The fuse is skinned in 3/32", sanded down to 1/16" and wings skins are 1/16" balsa, The tailplane and fin skins are made from 1/32" balsa.  The model will be designed for retracts. The prototypes will covered in  Profilm.

A number of Vinyl schemes will be available.

1/10 scale Lockheed Constellation 1049 Super 'G'

 This model will have a 148" wing span and is predicted to have an all up weight of only 38lbs (17.25kgs) .  The model will be designed for four OS FL70 Four stoke engine turning 13 x 8 three bladed props.  Each engine will have an 11onz fuel tank..
