This model has a 50" wing span and has an all up weight 1.1Kgs (2.4lbs), with a 11.1 2070mah lipo flight pack.  The model is designed for 480 size motors with 3:1 gearbox's, and Li-Po flight power packs, but can easily be converted to Brushless if required.

Details

The models have the PN Designs hallmark of construction, the  successful egg box method which alleviates any building anomalies.

The construction is built on a 1/8" Liteply keel with 1/16" birch ply main formers. Standard formers are 3/32" balsa and wing, tail and fin ribs are from 1/16" balsa.  The fuse is skinned in 3/32", sanded down to 1/16" and wings skins are 1/16" balsa, The tailplane and fin skins are made from 1/32" balsa.
